We aim to bring happiness and joy to all our students, using teaching methodologies of compassion, empathy, focus, care, differentiation and inclusion, developed by Karlene, our Founder and Executive Director. Karlene regularly interacts with the rest of the team (including teachers, teaching assistants, mentors and coaches, researchers), to reflect on and modify curriculum to enhance and support student learning and experience.
Children and women learn through hands-on experience. We teach diverse subjects through art (e.g., painting, drawing) and traditional methods (e.g., discussions, textbooks, slides). Lessons are structured to suit student learning needs. This personalised approach helps to convey subject matter in a more contextualised and clear manner, and creates a supportive classroom environment.
